Can I Use Deodorant On My BALLS?

Can I Use Deodorant On My BALLS? - BALLS

Can I use deodorant on my balls and d*ck? This is a legitimate question that more and more men are asking themselves.

If the undercarriage stinks, it makes sense that you would want to use something to help the situation…just like you use deodorant on your underarms.

But before you jump on the bandwagon of bars, sprays, and deodorant stones, you need to know that those types of products, while safe for your armpits, are not made for use on the genitals. They may contain chemicals that can be irritating to the more delicate skin down under.

Keep that Old Spice in the pits, and let’s look at some of your other options.

First let’s address some reasons you might be looking into a deodorant for your private bits.

A bad smell coming from your genital region can be caused by many reasons. If you are uncircumcised, you may have a build up of smegma or you could possibly have a yeast infection beneath your foreskin. Check with your doctor on that one.

If you are uncircumcised but don’t have a build up of smegma or a yeast infection, the smell might be coming from farther down below—between your legs or underneath your scrotum. In this case, it would help to focus on some extra hygiene. Such as, showering more often, washing the genitals thoroughly and carefully, using an antibacterial soap to stave off bacteria that causes odor in those hard-to-reach, hard-to-see places. You can also apply a talc-free and cornstarch-free baby powder to the area to help stay dry.

Even if you are already doing many of these things, including trimming your pubic hair, the question still remains–can I and should I use some sort of balls deodorant?

The answer is YES! You can! And you actually should. While some people (as well as their partners) prefer the natural scent “down below” there are still benefits and reasons to use a deodorant on your bollocks.

Yes, it can help cover unwanted smells, but it can also help keep you cool and avoid the dreaded “batwing” situation. (Batwing is when one scrotum sticks to your inner thighs. Disgusting). That is reason alone  to make sure those bad boys are deodorized and powdered.

So what types of products CAN you use? Here’s a list of some of the top sellers and what makes them so great.
